Gender: male Age: 3 Disorder: Skin infections Product: Immuno Active ReviewI am a so thankful for having discovered Forza10 through Whiskers, a holistic pet store in NY. The product really works and Dr. Canello and his staff are very helpful. My dog had very severe reactions to insect bites and I found him one day with his face all swollen and he could have easily chocked on his collar. The vet injected benadryl and a steroid and the swelling subsided but he continued to develop welts and scratched himself excessively. It was so heartbreaking to watch him not be able to sleep at night.. Whiskers recommended that I put him on Forza10 Dermo diet for a few months and then transition to a raw food diet. This summer he had another bad reaction and I decided to contact Forza directly. Dr. Canello suggested that I put him on the Immuno diet and recommended that I hold off for a couple of weeks on the powder that I added to his food to prevent ticks based on the ingredients. I was concerned because my dog used to get so many ticks and I had to take him to the vet a few times last year as he would get very aggressive when we tried to remove a tick that was lodged deep into his skin. My vet had suggested a stronger product as she thought Frontline was not effective.. Whiskers recommended a layered approach using 3 different less toxic products - Sentry tick application twice a week and Earth Animal Spray and internal powder daily. This seemed to work better than Frontline but he would still pick up a few ticks. To my amazement, when I switched to Forza10 Immuno, he was tick free all summer. I recently found a coupe of ticks but they were not lodged into his skin.
A few months ago, I noticed he had tiny bald patches above his eyes which one sees in older dogs and I assumed it was from the scratching. It has almost disappeared and I can only attribute it to the food. He also barely smells and can go a lot longer without a bath ands coat is healthy and shiny.
I am big believer in that quality ingredients can promote healing and happy, healthy dogs. Thanks Dr. Canello and Sandra B. for your help and guidance and for a great product.
