Deprivation diets - Food intolerance in dogs and cats

Allergies and intolerances, a serious health emergency. The most effective approach is still the deprivation diet, allowing us to define their origin.

Allergies and intolerances, a serious health emergency

Those colleagues more inclined towards practice rather than theory will easily note that intolerances, at least in pets, significantly exceed allergies. Despite notable developments in specific diagnostic tools, there are no reliable tests concerning this global health emergency.

Unreliable tests

In fact, the various tests on the market are unreliable, providing, both for allergies and intolerances, qualitative but not quantitative responses, composed of very long strings of irrelevant positives which conseuqently prevent an effective application of the results.

The missing "Chinese syndrome"

All oriental populations, and especially the Chinese, should suffer mass allergies and intolerances given their secular foods, based on rice and fish; yet there is no trace of this sensitization except for the fact that the Chinese have also well thought to pass en masse to polished rice, abandoning brown rice. The consequence? No sensitization, but an explosion of diabetes due to the continuous glycemic peaks which hulled rice provokes.

Food: simple vehicles

All our studies are clearly leading to the identification that each food is a simple vehicle for the residues of various chemical or pharmacological substances that are used during its production.

The real cause of the delayed onset phenomenon

Delayed onset (described by specific experts as the "loading phase") would actually be due to the progressive accumulation of the residues of chemical or pharmacological substances contained in the food, up to the point of toxic manifestation.

This would also explain the progressive disappearance of symptoms with deprivation diets (the "discharge phase") due to the equally progressive reduction and disappearance of the toxin from the body.

The period of grace

Furthermore, we would explain the subsequent "tolerance" period, which manifests itself when reintroducing the responsible food, as the time necessary for the toxin to again accumulate and manifest its harmful action.

Why different times

It’s also easy to explain why the defined sensitization period varias notably: the response to each unhealthy stimulus differs from individual to individual, perhaps being harmless for one and severely toxic for another.

More and more people become intolerant to one or more foods

The exponential increase in food intolerances can only be explained by the progressive and increasingly heavy use of chemistry and pharmacology to boost the output, or protect from parasites and infected plants, of crops, fruit, vegetables, meat, milk and eggs, rendering all these foods vehicles of substances that, in different times and ways, reach all the population of the countries where the model is applied.

An exponential increase

Consequently, food intolerances have increased exponentially over the last 50 years, and it is difficult to find animals or people who don’t suffer problems with one or more foods. Moreover, since many intolerance symptoms are not easily connected to food, many doctors and veterinarians do not perceive this, leading to the fear that the phenomenon is universal and undiagnosed in the "civilized" world.

Food intolerances did not exist

Having lived as a boy in the 60’s I can certify that food intolerances did not exist; and not because they were unknown or undiagnosed, simply they were not present.

Deprivation diets

This is why the most effective approach is still the deprivation diet, allowing us to define their origin with realtive ease. These diets, as is known, are based on the elimination from the diet, one at a time, of any food suspected of causing the symptoms.

Apply your simple experiments by eliminating, when faced with a chronic problem, the foods used every day: you will note that the results will easily and quickly emerge.
